Had a great Christmas getaway at this hotel! The rooms were clean and cozy, perfect for a winter break. The location was spot on - close to popular tourist spots and easy to explore the surrounding area. Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
We did experience a couple of downsides. the bed in one of the rooms was not very comfortable, which affected our sleep.

The bathroom at Viewlands House was great! It had a refreshing shower that made me feel like I was standing under a waterfall. As someone who loves being in touch with nature, this was an amazing experience!
The only thing I liked less was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, some people might not mind sharing, so it's just my opinion.

The bathroom was amazing! It had a big shower that was easy for me to get into and out of. It felt so luxurious and made me feel like a superstar. As a disabled guest, it was such a relief to have a bathroom that was accessible and comfortable.
The only thing I didn't love was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal preference and others might not mind at all.

The towels were so soft and fluffy, I could have wrapped myself in them all day. It's not often you get to dry off with a cloud! So fancy!
Oh, and let's not forget about the glamorous experience of buying toilet rolls and tea towels. Truly the height of luxury.

The house is cute and very clean. The location is great, with a lovely village and friendly locals. There is a good pub with a great beer garden and a nice deli shop nearby. The living room is wonderful for socializing and the beds are comfortable. The host is extremely helpful and provides useful travel information. The private and secure garden is perfect for our dog. The house has all the modern conveniences we needed.
Parking was on the road, which would have preferred off-road parking.

The bathroom was cozy and had a nice shower. It felt like my own little haven where I could relax and refresh after a long day. As someone who appreciates a good shower, it definitely checked all the right boxes for me.
The only downside was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, some people might actually enjoy the challenge of taking turns and embracing the bathroom camaraderie!
